For our new written review series, we went to three different grocery stores to try three apple pies. So we can see which one is the best go to. We went to the three biggest grocery store's: the Lidl, the Plus and the Jumbo.

I went to the Plus to get the apple pie. First of all I think the Plus is a ok shop to go to. It is all clear were everything is and the cakes are placed in a nice fridge. So the first look of the pie is nice! It is placed in an nice box. I think the first impression of a cake is really important, because it makes you want to buy it.

But the most important thing is how it taste. Let's start with the apples. The taste of the apples is fine, but it is not like what you think of fresh apples. They were a bit soft and the taste was a bit floury. The biscuits was amazing. The taste was perfect, not too sweet, but spot one with the amount of sugar. The biscuit was also firm, that's something I personally really like. But a apple pie is mainly about the apples, so I can't say the biscuit safes the whole cake. If the apples were nicer it would be a really good cake.
